Chief Executive Officer
Quang La
Quang La is the founder of Innovative STEMagazine. As a first generation immigrant to the United States from Vietnam, Quang is passionate about creating opportunities for teens to be in the frontline of information and education. He created this magazine as a way for students to get involved in the global community and share news from all over the world.​

In the past, he has also founded Medicine Community & Research 501c3 nonprofit as well as created the MME Networks where students can participate in academic research. Quang also participates in Taekwondo, swimming, various clubs at school, as well as serve as a volunteer at his local hospital!

Shanmukh Bachhu
Hi! My name is Shanmukh Bachhu, and I am currently a junior in High School. I'm an aspiring water resources engineer and am currently invested in environmental science research studying polyfluoroalkyl substances in Riverside's groundwater aquifers. You'll also find me at competitions under my school's Vex Robotics Team or around the Southern California area, competing in a multitude of Model United Nations conferences.

I joined InnovativeSTEMagazine because it helps educate students from across the world about the discoveries in STEM while spreading interests. I am also part of MME Networks to increase the drive for academic research as well as EngineeringPivot helping the engineers of tomorrow. Many students go into STEM not truly finding that initial spark, and lacking the drive to succeed in Engineering. I helped co-found EngineeringPivot to help connect students to readers, helping students across the world to learn about the various research students like them are doing.

Armaan Sharma
Hi! I am Armaan Sharma, a passionate junior in high school. I am a motivated teenager interested in the fields of computer science and business, and I am currently learning machine learning and financial hypotheses, to figure out a bridge between my two passions. I have a heart for volunteering and teaching, since as a first generation immigrant to the United States, I was unaware of many opportunities and means of learning.
I have participated in various financial competitions, such as the National Economics Tournament, where our team placed in the national quarterfinals. I have also participated in ISEF at the district level, where our team’s research on the optimal location for drone placement to maximize cellular data coverage to so-called “dead spots” earned third place. Finally, I am in various clubs at our school, such as the Entrepreneurship Honor Society, a 100+ member club where I am the president. I also have played Piano for close to 10 years now, a huge hobby of mine!
Graphic Designer
Isabela Li
Hello! I am Isabella Li, a current high school freshman interested in math, computer science and music. I participate in various research groups online and strive to find connections between these subjects. I yearn to bridge the gender gap in STEM fields, and am passionate about making STEM learning enjoyable and accessible to all students. I am a member of my school's math team and STEAM team, and you could find me active in math competitions. I also code fun and practical projects, such as Integrals Interactive and Linguistics Interactive—online practice tools for integration and linguistics.

I joined InnovativeSTEMagazine because of the crave for novelty in research, in topics such as food, music and life. I am enamored of collage and painting, and my artistic instinct, fervor for aesthetics and technical acumen drives me to become graphic designer. In my spare time, I enjoy playing musical instruments and composing. I am an 11-year piano player and 7-year dulcimer player. As chair and section leader for dulcimer in my previous orchestra, we performed various concerts around the world and gained international gold award. I also take pleasure learning new languages. I am a gold medalist in the National French Contest and the creator of Japanese Club at my previous school.
